This Refund Policy outlines the cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms for services purchased from Stunningmuscle. We aim to provide clear, fair policies that respect both our clients' needs and our operational requirements. This policy applies to all workshop bookings, personalized plan purchases, educational product orders, and program enrollments unless otherwise stated in a written service agreement.

2. General Principles

All refund requests are evaluated based on the timing of cancellation, the type of service purchased, and whether the service has been partially or fully delivered. Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed in writing. Processing times vary by payment provider but typically range from five to ten business days after approval.

Stunningmuscle reserves the right to offer rescheduling as an alternative to a refund when appropriate. Clients are encouraged to contact us as early as possible when changes are needed, as advance notice directly affects refund eligibility.

3. Workshop Bookings

3.1 Client-Initiated Cancellations

The following refund schedule applies to confirmed workshop bookings:

  • More than fourteen days before the scheduled session: Full refund of all fees paid, minus any non-refundable deposit specified at booking (typically zero for standard workshops).
  • Seven to fourteen days before the scheduled session: Fifty percent (50%) refund of the total workshop fee. The remaining balance covers instructor scheduling and preparation costs.
  • Less than seven days before the scheduled session: No refund available. A one-time rescheduling option may be offered at our discretion, subject to instructor availability within sixty days of the original date.
  • No-show without prior notice: No refund. Full session fee is forfeited.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to hello@stunningmuscle.world and include your booking confirmation reference, name, and reason for cancellation. The cancellation date is determined by the timestamp of our receipt of your written request.

3.2 Company-Initiated Cancellations

If Stunningmuscle cancels a workshop due to instructor illness, severe weather, venue unavailability, or other circumstances beyond client control, you will receive one of the following options at your choice:

  • Full refund of all amounts paid for the cancelled session
  • Rescheduling to the next available date at no additional charge
  • Credit toward a future workshop of equal or lesser value, valid for twelve months

We will notify affected clients as soon as possible, typically at least twenty-four hours before the scheduled session when circumstances permit.

3.3 Partial Attendance

Workshop fees are for the complete session as booked. Leaving a workshop early or missing a portion of the session does not entitle you to a partial refund. If you experience discomfort during a session, inform the instructor immediately so modifications can be offered.

4. Multi-Session Packages and Corporate Bookings

4.1 Multi-Session Packages

Clients who purchase packages of three or more workshops receive a per-session discount reflected in the total package price. If you cancel individual sessions within a package:

  • Sessions cancelled more than fourteen days in advance: Refund calculated at the standard single-session rate (without package discount) for the cancelled session(s), with the package discount applied to remaining sessions.
  • Sessions cancelled within fourteen days: Standard single-session cancellation terms apply (see Section 3.1).
  • Cancellation of the entire package before any session occurs: Full package refund if requested more than fourteen days before the first scheduled session. Otherwise, completed sessions are charged at standard rates and remaining balance refunded per individual session terms.

4.2 Corporate and Group Bookings

Corporate contracts and group bookings of nine or more participants may include custom cancellation terms outlined in the signed service agreement. Where no specific terms are documented, the standard workshop cancellation schedule in Section 3.1 applies. Corporate clients should contact us to discuss flexible rescheduling options for team events.

5. Personalized Movement Plans

Personalized non-medical movement plans are digital educational products prepared based on information you provide. Refund terms depend on delivery status:

  • Before plan delivery: Full refund if requested within forty-eight hours of purchase and before any draft has been shared.
  • After draft delivery: No refund available once the personalized plan document has been sent to you, as the product has been substantially delivered.
  • Revision requests: One round of minor revisions is included within seven days of delivery at no charge. Major rewrites may incur additional fees quoted in advance.

6. Educational Products and Self-Guided Materials

Written session plans, video reference libraries, and self-guided practice packets are non-refundable once digital access has been granted or physical materials have been shipped. If you experience technical difficulties accessing purchased digital content, contact us within seven days and we will work to resolve the issue or provide a replacement access link.

7. Seasonal Programs and Challenges

Multi-week educational movement programs and seasonal challenges follow these terms:

  • Before program start date: Full refund minus a ten percent ($10 minimum) administrative fee if cancelled more than seven days before the program begins.
  • Within seven days of start: No refund. Transfer to a future program cohort may be available if requested before the first group check-in.
  • After program begins: No refund for any reason, as materials and instructor time are allocated at program launch.

These programs are educational in nature and do not involve competitive rankings, prize payouts, or outcome-based guarantees.

8. Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling is treated separately from cancellation. You may reschedule a confirmed workshop at no charge if:

  • The request is received at least seven days before the original session date
  • The new date falls within ninety days of the original booking
  • Instructor availability permits the new date

One free reschedule is permitted per booking. Additional reschedule requests incur a twenty-five dollar ($25) administrative fee. Rescheduling requests made less than seven days before the session are treated as cancellations under Section 3.1.

9. Travel and Venue Surcharges

Transit fees and venue setup charges assessed for locations outside central San Francisco are non-refundable once an instructor has been dispatched or venue arrangements confirmed, regardless of subsequent cancellation timing. If we cancel due to circumstances on our end, surcharges are refunded in full.

10. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

We encourage clients to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with their payment provider. Chargebacks filed without prior communication may result in suspension of future booking privileges. We provide documentation of service delivery and cancellation terms to payment processors when disputes arise.

11. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed as follows:

  • Credit or debit card payments: Refund posted to the original card within five to ten business days after approval. Your bank may require additional processing time.
  • Bank transfers: Refund issued within ten business days to the originating account.
  • Account credits: If you elect to receive account credit instead of a monetary refund, credit is applied immediately and valid for twelve months from the date of issue.

You will receive email confirmation when a refund is initiated, including the amount and expected processing timeline.

12. Exceptional Circumstances

We recognize that unexpected events occur. Refund requests outside the standard policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis for documented emergencies such as serious illness, bereavement, or natural disasters affecting your ability to attend. Contact us with relevant documentation, and we will review your situation with compassion and fairness. Exceptional circumstance refunds are granted at our sole discretion and do not establish precedent for future requests.

13. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law. Residents of jurisdictions with mandatory cooling-off periods or additional consumer protections may exercise those rights as provided by local legislation. California consumers may contact the California Department of Consumer Affairs for information about their rights.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy periodically. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Changes apply to bookings made after the updated effective date. Bookings confirmed under a previous policy version are governed by the terms in effect at the time of confirmation.
